August 14

I'll be demonstrating this ombre shadow quilt at Thimbleweeds on September 1.

Here's another block for "Tonga Rhapsody" by Wing and a Prayer Design.

This is part of my bargello demonstration.
It uses a "Blueberry Pie" Tonga Treats by Timeless Treasures.

August 4

I finished binding "Running Spikes".

Here's a quilting idea I saw perusing magazines at the grocery store.

I'm working on the New Mexico Quilters Association Challenge. It must be less than 2' x 3', have at least 2 batik fabrics, and go along with an "Enchanted New Mexico" theme. Right now, it looks like brown toxic ooze. I promise it is going to look like Signature Rock within a month. Plan B is putting a whole lot of foliage on the bottom.

Four blocks left to go on the zoo quilt, including this lion.

This is a bargello in the making.

This is my chart for the bargello.

This is my palette from which to select beautiful fabrics for a secret project, coming at the end of this year!

Block #3 has been cut. Block #2 has been skipped, for now.

August 1

Yesterday I finished my latest block (Jack & the Beanstalk) for Quilt Ole's Saturday Sampler. Granted, you won't recognize them because I modified them so much. However, I am doing a winter theme and using most of the fabrics I've been provided.

Four out of the eight animals for "The Zoo" are finished. The kits are ready and waiting at Quilts Ole for completion of this sample quilt.

"Running Spikes" is back from the quilter. I just need to bind it.

I'm also beginning a bargello using Timeless Treasures Tonga Treat "Blueberry Pie", which I will demonstrate how to make Aug. 13 at 10:00 am at Quilts Ole.
